Summary
[edit]DescriptionJoule and Gay-lussac expansion.svg |
English: A simple representation of the Joule and Gay-Lussac gas expansion experiment. A gas initially contained into the left container expands into an empty container on the right. The change in temperature is observed. The closer the behavior of the gas is to that of the perfect gas model, and the lower the temperature changes. In the limit, they are zero. |
