Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Record taken from the school book of the normal school in Beroun where Josef Jungmann (1773–1847), studied during 1785–1787. The third and the highest class of the school was a sort of “lower” school which Jungmann attended after he completed the Czech trivial school in Hudlice. The so-called "Normal schools" usually existed in regional towns and became a model, or a norm (thus the adjective normal), for other schools. German and Latin were taught there.(State District Archives Beroun, Piarist Residence Beroun, untreated.)
