ქართული: საპარიკმახერო — დაწესებულება, რომელიც სთავაზობს მოსახლეობას თმის მოვლის მომსახურებას . სპეციალისტს, რომელიც მუშაობს საპარიკმახეროში, პარიკმახერი ჰქვია. ხშირად საპარიკმახერო არის სილამაზის სალონის განუყოფელი ნაწილი.
日本語: 理容師 とは、髪を切って整える等の理容を行う仕事を司る職種である。
紀元前においても現代の都市文明社会においても、髪を切る以外に、パーマネントウエーブ、ネイルアート、化粧、染髪、マッサージなどは、理容師の業務範囲に含まれていることが少なくなかった（むろん、時代・地域等によって大きく異なる）が、現代ではこれらの各種サービスにエステティックが加わった。

Tiếng Việt: Thợ hớt tóc, hay thợ cắt tóc là một người làm nghề cắt các loại tóc, cạo, và tỉa râu. Trước đây, thợ hớt tóc cũng thực hiện cả phẫu thuật và chữa răng. Thời đại ngày nay, với sự phát triển của dao cạo an toàn và ngày càng ít người để râu, đa số thợ hớt tóc chỉ hớt tóc.
Do đó, mặc dù nhiều thợ vẫn cạo râu khi cần, sự khác biệt lớn nhất trong văn hóa Mỹ và Thịnh vượng chung là thợ hớt tóc chỉ đơn thuần hớt tóc cho đàn ông. Nói chung họ không tạo kiểu hoặc hớt tóc 'kiểu cọ' khi so sánh với những thợ làm tóc làm việc tại các trung tâm (salon) về tóc.
