Born Nov. 10. 1796, died Nov. 10. 1862 By Farmers and Friends in many lands. Webb was a farmer and stock breeder who was responsible for developing the Southdown breed of sheep into its modern form. He farmed at Babraham, and the statue has been moved here from the Cambridge Corn Exchange. |
