Description
English: Roadside view of the John Brown Tannery Site, located on the western side of John Brown Road just south of Pennsylvania Route 77 in Richmond Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, United States. The site represents the post-fire remains of a tannery operated by John Brown of Ossawattomie fame; it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an archaeological site.
