This building was built before 1938 by the Kingdom of Netherlands (on behalf of Dutch East Indies) and it's classified as heritage sites by the Government of Indonesia. This picture was taken after the extensive renovation following 2015 fire, and the government of Semarang City kept the same look and feel as the old heritage sites, so this building is still on scope of the freedom of panorama.
