Description
Deutsch: Johann Friedrich Overbeck (1789–1869): Die Auferweckung des Lazarus. Während der Wiener Akademiezeit entstanden. Ol auf Leinwand,, 41,3 x 53,5 cm. Museum Behnhaus Drägerhaus, Lübeck. Links aussen Overbeck und sein Freund Franz Pforr (1788–1812) mit Beteuerungsgestus. Rechts vorne die sich umarmenden Schwestern (Maria und Martha) – ein Motiv, das der Maler später in abgewandelter Form als "Sulamith und Maria" bzw. "Italia und Germania" wieder aufnahm.
