Links aussen Overbeck und sein Freund Franz Pforr (1788–1812) mit Beteuerungsgestus. Rechts vorne die sich umarmenden Schwestern (Maria und Martha) – ein Motiv, das der Maler später in abgewandelter Form als "Sulamith und Maria" bzw. "Italia und Germania" wieder aufnahm. |
