Joe Biden visits the memorial for Euromaidan in Kiev with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sometimes we do what's called an OTR, or an "off the record stop," which usually ends up being on the record because we bring press along. In this case, the Vice President stopped to pay his respects at an unofficial memorial to the lives lost during the Maidan protests in February 2014. It's referred to as the "Heavenly Hundred" Memorial, and the Vice President spent several minutes there today honoring the victims. Also pictured is U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt. --DL
