Au nord et au nord-ouest de Jodhpur, commence le désert de Thar

Le fort de Mehrangarh de Jodhpur, ville située dans l'État du Rajasthan (Inde), est l'un des plus imposants forts que compte l'Inde. Surnommé le fort magnifique, il surplombe la ville du haut de ses 122 mètres. À l'intérieur de celui-ci se trouve un palais richement décoré et agrémenté de nombreuses cours.
