Notes Jerusalem surrounding the temple and filled with people, soldiers, livestock and a scene of Judas embracing Jesus and signalling his arrest by the Romans. Panels at sides name the important buildings and include two full-length portraits of Aaron and King Solomon. Across the bottom are large engravings of the Vessels of the Temple. This is the second state of the plate. With black lines in center part who are actually cracks of the copperplate.; Reproduction.; Probably from a Bible [Poortman, Kaarten in Bijbels, p. 221].; See Jer 249, similarity in the shape of the Temple.
