English: Member of the U.S. armed forces, Pfc. Jeremy N. Morlock, pulling a dead Afghan boy by his hair in 2010. The dead boy was named Gul-muddin, son of an Afghan farmer from Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan. The boy was shot and killed on 15 January 2010 by a small group of corrupt U.S. Army soldiers called the Kill Team. Pfc. Morlock was stationed at FOB Ramrod in the Maywand District of Kandahar Province. The incident caused a global condemnation, and at least 4 members of the group were court-martialled and sentenced to various prison sentences.[1] |
