Français : Tapisserie Jeanne à Chinon, 2,75 x 2,35 m, propriété du Centre Jeanne d'Arc, Orléans, (Inv. 76.51.003), exposée au Château de Chinon. Cette tapisserie, attribuée aux ateliers de la région d'Aubusson, et plus précisement à celui des Corneille, est la troisième de six pièces dont les cartons sont inspirées par des dessins de Claude Vignon (1563-1670) et des gravures à l'eau-forte qu'Abraham Bosse réalisa d'après ces dessins. Provenant du château de la Sayette à Vasles (Deux Sèvres), elles ont été acquises en 1976 par le Centre Jeanne d'Arc. Jeanne à Chinon représente l'arrivée de la pucelle au Château de Chinon, devant le roi Charles VII.
English: Tapestry Jeanne to Chinon, 2.75 x 2.35 m, property of the Centre Jeanne d'Arc, Orleans, (Inv. 76.51.003), exhibited at the Château de Chinon. This tapestry, attributed workshops of Aubusson region, and more specifically that of Corneille, is the third of six parts including cartons are inspired by drawings by Claude Vignon (1563-1670) and prints the etching Abraham Bosse realized from these drawings. From the castle to Sayette Vasles (Deux Sèvres) they were acquired in 1976 by the Centre Jeanne d'Arc. Jeanne is Chinon to the arrival of the maid in Chinon Castle, before King Charles VII. |
