Description
Français : Figure 3 de la thèse de Jean Perrin. Schéma d'un autre tube de Crookes dans lequel sont placés une anode-grille P et un fil A perpendiculaire au trajet des rayons cathodiques. Représentation du trajet des rayons cathodiques lorsque le fil A est neutre (alpha), chargé négativement (béta) et chargé positivement (gamma). La position de l'impact des rayons sur le tube est détectée par la fluorescence du verre.
English: Figure 3 of the PhD thesis of Jean Baptiste Perrin. Another Crookes tube in which N is the cathode, P is a grid-anode, A is a wire perpendicular to the cathode rays path. Representation of the cathode rays path when A is neutral (alpha), negatively charged (beta) or positively charged (gamma). Positions of the cathode rays impact on the glass tube are detected by fluorescence.
