Description

Le portail nord, "L’arc Tudor" fut reconstruit après le sac des calvinistes en 1569. Il est de style renaissance.

L'arc Tudor est employé dans l'architecture anglaise du temps des Tudors (fin du XVe siècle et XVIe), on le trouve aussi en Belgique, mais plus rarement en France. C'est une sorte d'ogive surbaissée.


The north portal, "The Tudor arch" was rebuilt after the sack of the Calvinists in 1569. It is Renaissance.

The Tudor arch is used in English architecture, from the time of the Tudors (late fifteenth and sixteenth century), it is also found in Belgium, but more rarely in France. This is a lowered warhead.
