Description

Os jardins Calouste Gulbenkian circundam a Fundação do mesmo nome e dispõe de salas de espectáculos e áreas de exposições, Centro de Arte Moderna, Museu com biblioteca e restaurante/bar.

Os jardins foram construídos nos anos 50 em homenagem ao seu fundador - Calouste Gulbenkian - e constituem um amplo espaço de lazer e cultura, com um desenho paisagístico caracterizado por jardins suspensos e uma flora diversificada.

A concepção do Parque, jardins interiores e terraços ajardinados foi confiada aos arquitectos paisagistas Gonçalo Ribeiro Teles e António Viana Barreto os quais trabalharam em estreita colaboração com os arquitectos do complexo de edifícios da Fundação, Alberto Pessoa, Pedro Cid e Ruy Athouguia. <a href="http://www.visitportugal.com/NR/exeres/89E3336E-2DA6-42E8-AD08-3D515472404C,frameless.htm">www.visitportugal.com/NR/exeres/89E3336E-2DA6-42E8-AD08-3...</a>
