Description
Português: Vista Sudeste do Castelo de Abrantes, em Portugal, mostrando o Parque Dr. Oliveira Salazar (posteriormente renomeado para Jardim do Castelo), o Outeiro de São Pedro e o Rio Tejo. A ponte no centro faz parte da linha férrea da Beira Baixa. Esta fotografia foi publicada na Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro n.º 1310, de 16 de Julho de 1942, e digitalizada pela Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
English: Southeast view from the Abrantes Castle, in Portugal, showing the Dr. Oliveira Salazar park (later renamed to Castle Garden) the the Outeiro de São Pedro monument, and the Tagus river. The bridge in the center is part of the Beira Baixa railway. This photograph was originally published in the Gazeta dos Caminhos de Ferro No. 1310, of the 16th July 1942, and scanned by the Hemeroteca Municipal de Lisboa.
