English: "During the recent visit of the Japanese Cruisers, "Iwate and Yokumo," to Panama, the midshipmen were given the novel treat of going for a ride via Army Class "B" Trucks, which conveyed the visitors to all points of interest in Panama and the Canal Zone. Within three days, fifteen hundred midshipment availed themselves of this opportunity and all voiced admiration of the natural beauty of the Canal Zone and the Marvelous engineering feat, of the Panama Canal." |
