Description
English: James Gavin Memorial Gardens Memorial Gardens with stone cairn commemorating the Covenanter James Gavin, who had his ears cut off with his own shears around 1684. There is a stone inserted in the cairn which, to commemorate the deed, Gavin carved himself and put above the door of the house he built on this site after her returned from exile.
