Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Haveli Wall, Jaisalmer

The havelis of Jaisalmer are large, multistory mansions constructed by the city's wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Shown here is the facade of one of the richest havelis, built by the Patwa family of traders in 1842. This haveli is located outside the fort, in the north side of the town.
