Notes
English: Scenes from the Story of Joseph (6) now in the National Gallery, London. These panels, together with others by Andrea del Sarto, Francesco Granacci, Bachiacca and Franciabigio, decorated the nuptial chamber of Francesco Borgherini and Margherita Acciaioli in Florence, who married in 1515. The group of fourteen paintings, broken up at the end of the 16th century, was contained within a wooden decoration made by Baccio d'Agnolo. The decorations also included Pontormo's 'Joseph sold to Potiphar', 'Joseph's Brothers beg for Help' and 'Joseph with Jacob in Egypt', as well as Bacchiacca's 'Joseph receives his Brothers' and 'Joseph Pardons his Brothers'.
