Recorded by the donor, = granddaughter, "This is part of the wedding dress of Miss - who married Mr Williams in New Zealand in 1860." “WEDDING DRESS – Bodice only. Blue shot silk tight fitting bodice up to high neck (neck trim or collar missing). V shaped front and back – hook fastening down front with decorative buttons – basque below waist – all trimmed with silk fringe. Lined and boned. Pagoda sleeves.” |
