| Description |
English: In 1893 Józef Kusionowicz, brother of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz, moved his notary practice from Milówka to Niepołomice and changed his surname to Grodyński (changing his official legal stamp at the same time). This document, copied courtesy of the National Archive in Kraków (pl) (reference 29/1251/210), is one of a number of documents that together reveal some of the details in effecting those changes. The original documents relating to the name change are apparently held at the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv (formerly Lwów, with references L 12195 12.VIII.1893 and L 80451 10.X.1893.) [Władyslaw Kusionowicz, brother of Józef, also changed his surname in 1893 with document reference L 88839 9.XI.1893, #33399/46.] The Scotch Mist Gallery contains photographs of historic buildings, monuments, memorials and people of Poland.
