Description
English: EAST CHINA SEA (Jun. 22, 2012) - The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer JS Yūdachi (DD-103) is in front of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) during a formation in the East China Sea. The Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and Republic of Korea Navy joined U.S. Navy ships in the East China Sea for a trilateral exercise. The exercise is designed to increase interoperability and readiness of all three navies. (US Navy photo by Lt. Cmdr. Denver Applehans/Released)
