English: this is the inaugural picture of a series of photographs I'd like to call Julia sitting on various things (mostly benches), or JSOVT(MB) for short. the keen observer will notice that in this picture she is not sitting on a bench, and maybe wonder about the name of the set. I am sure that the naming will eventually become clear after I have posted some more pictures.
this particular shot was taken in the back yard of the house I am living in, on a really bright, sunny day. the contrasts were just crazy and I had to underexpose by more than a full stop not to lose detail in the blanket. I tried to balance the light and shadows as well as possible later, during RAW import. |
