Deutsch: Ein typisches Element altbritischer Eisenbahnsicherungstechnik, der im Bild nahezu senkrecht verlaufende Schieber war in die Signalleitung eingebunden, die nach links führende Stange war mit den Weichenzungen verbunden. Beide kreuzten sich mit entsprechenden Ausschnitten so, das immer nur einer zu bewegen war. Das Ziehen des Einfahrsignals war damit nur bei richtiger Lage der betreffenden Weiche möglich. |
