Description
Deutsch: Dieser Bahnhof ist der Endpunkt der zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt einzigen Reiseverkehrverbindung in Uruguay, frühmorgens verkehren zwei Züge nach Montevideo, am Abend fahren sie hierher zurück. Die Anlagen zeigen, dass hier zu Zeiten des Vollbetriebes deutlich mehr Verkehr bestand. 25 de Agosto ist ein Trennungsbahnhof, von hier aus führen Strecken Richtung Fray Bentos und Algorta sowie zur brasilianischen Grenze bei Rivera weiter. Die zweite Strecke ist offiziell auch in Betrieb.

Nicht klar ist, wozu es ein Stellwerksgebäude und zusätzlich eine Hebelbank auf dem Hausbahnsteig gibt, doch letztere ist schon länger außer Betrieb.

Vor der Weiche im Vordergrund gibt es eine auffällig lange Fühlschiene bis zum davorstehenden Rangiersignal.
