Description
Deutsch: Nur an wenigen Stellen in Valparaíso sind noch Straßenbahngleisreste zu sehen. Auffällig ist hier an der Plaza de la Aduana (oder Plaza Wheelwright, offenbar ist sich auch der Oberbürgermeister nicht völlig sicher), dass die Gleislage nicht zur Bebauung passt. Offenbar wurde die nach der Betriebseinstellung stark geändert. Der Obusbetrieb, der die Straßenbahn ersetzte und nie deren Bedeutung erlangen konnte, hat hier auch eine Wendeschleife.
Im Gegensatz zu Santiago de Chile war das Straßenbahnnetz von Valparaíso zumindest seit der Elektrifizierung regelspurig.
