Description
Deutsch: »Citylink«-Zweikrafttriebwagen für die Citybahn Chemnitz im Freigelände der InnoTrans 2016. Die Wagen ähneln im Aufbau den Regio Citadis der Regiotram Kassel, doch fällt hier die unterschiedliche Einstiegshöhe bei den benachbarten Türen auf. Im Gegensatz zu Kassel beschafft der VMS jedoch wegen der vergleichsweise wenigen Einheiten und der einfacheren Vorhaltung von Reservewagen für die ersten Betriebsstufen nur Zweikrafttriebwagen, die mit 15 kV elektrifizierte Strecke nach Mittweida wird ebenfalls im Dieselbetrieb bedient. Auffällig sind die unterschiedlichen Einstiegshöhen von 405 und 570 Millimetern mit zusätzlichen Schiebetritten zur Spaltüberbrückung.
