English: Orphanage, Amsterdam, seen from the Sint Luciënsteeg. 1770.
Nederlands: Orphanage, Amsterdam, gezien vanaf de Sint Luciënsteeg. Op nummer 27 het poortje naar de meisjesbinnenplaats van het Burgerweeshuis, Kalverstraat 92. De tekening stond, in ieder geval sinds het midden van de negentiende eeuw, op naam van Jan de Beijer. Hij is echter vervaardigd door H.P. Schouten.
