Summary
[edit]DescriptionIstanbul Archaeological Museum Palmyrene funerary relief 1213.jpg |
English: The Archaeological Museum in Istanbul houses a fine collection of loculi, slabs of stone with a relief of one (sometimes more) person or people who are buried in niches behind them. This is one of many pictures of most of those, sometimes more or less a detail of another. Only on some one can see traces of the paint that they probably once held all over. See for more the relevant article in Wikimedia.
