English: Issued edict or hukamnama (the word 'Hukamnama' in Sikhism, used in the historical sense, refers to the issued edict, order, or injunction by the Sikh gurus or their officiated followers and associates) of Banda Singh Bahadur. Held in the Bhai Rupa Collection.

Description: "Edicts by Baba Banda Singh Bahadar urging the Sikh Sangats to follow the Guru's command of singing the Divine Glory and keeping the rahit (code of conduct} bestowed by the Tenth Guru. They implore the Sikhs to join the Khalsa army and to feel Guru's grace." (quote taken from: https://www.instagram.com/p/COyKbWqMejp/)

"Letter with the seal of Banda Singh Bahadar sent to Bhai Dharam Singh & Param Singh of Bhai Rupa, requesting them to join in the Khalsa campaign. Bhai Dharam Singh led the Malwa Sikhs and joined Banda Bahadar’s forces at Chapar Chiri. Note the use of the Bandai greeting ‘Fateh Darshan’ and the use of the term ‘Panje Hathiaar Badhh Aavnna’ ‘come bearing five weapons’ in other words ‘fully prepared’ (Bhai Suchet Singh Collection.
