English: Isis floodplain The northern half of the square is largely taken up with the floodplain of the Hinksey Stream, a braiding of the Isis (Thames). Despite the recent very wet weather it does not look very wet but would be very squelchy underfoot. Taken from a bridge over the A34 between South Hinksey and Hinksey golf club. |
