Grand Hibernian Belmond

| Description |
English: The Grand Hibernian Belmond makes it way into Connolly Station as its new week long tour begin.
The tour starts at Heuston Station, but due to the track layout leaving Heuston & heading for Belfast via Connolly, two engines are required, with 087 on the local shunt duties today. The logistics around Connolly provided some great photo opportunities of the set, from the different engines used, both the 071 & 201's, along with the sheet length of these unique carriages. The Grand Hibernian Belmond was cancelled with the onset of Covid-19 & decision were taken in 2021 to cancel the tour entirely, with the coaches expected to ship to the UK for further use on a new tour over there. |
