Čeština: Irena Svobodová, rozená Stratilová, (* 10. ledna 1901 Cvrčovice – 17. července 1980 Praha) byla první dáma Československa a manželka sedmého československého prezidenta Ludvíka Svobody. Za Protektorátu Čechy a Morava (spolu se svou rodinou) spolupracovala (mimo jiné) se členy sovětského paradesantního výsadku S1/R. Po prozrazení této parašutistické mise (ke konci roku 1941) Irena Svobodová se svojí dospívající dcerou Zoe Svobodovou unikaly (od listopadu 1941 do května 1945) zatčení tím, že se obě ženy skrývaly na různých místech Moravy.
English: Irena Svobodová, née Stratilová, (* 10 January 1901 Cvrčovice - 17 July 1980 Prague) was the First Lady of Czechoslovakia and the wife of the seventh Czechoslovak President Ludvík Svoboda. During the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (along with her family), she cooperated (among other things) with members of the Soviet paratroopers S1/R. After the disclosure of this paratrooping mission (towards the end of 1941), Irena Svobodová and her teenage daughter Zoe Svobodová escaped arrest (from November 1941 to May 1945) by hiding in various places in Moravia. |
