Summary
[edit]DescriptionIran 1882-84 Sc53 fake.jpg |
English: Iran / Persia 1882-84 issue forgery, 5 centimes deep green and green, unused. The middle line of the right pillar in forgeries is thick and intact, while in the genuine stamp it is weak and fading at the bottom of the line. Also, the upper right side of the scroll lacks shade. The scroll works in the genuine stamps seem to have depth due to the shading of their edges, while in forgeries they look flat. See related image showing a genuine stamp.
