English: Handwritten on verso of image: L to R - Ira Woodin, Carson D. Boren, Walter Graham PH Coll 1197.14 Ira Woodin (born ca. 1833) was the founder of Woodinville, Washington. Carson Dobbins Boren (1824?-1912) was a member of the Denny party, which arrived in what would become Seattle in 1851. On April 3, 1852, at the northwest corner of present-day 2nd Avenue and Cherry Street, Boren built a tiny cabin, the first in the town. Walter Graham (born ca. 1829) was an early resident of the Brighton Beach neighborhood in South Seattle.
