Winter has arrived at the National Bison Range. This photo was taken on December 6, 2013, which experienced a high of 3 degrees F and a low of 10-15 below zero that night. The bison took it in stride, with their thick wool and hides keeping them warm and insulated. This photo was taken during a spell of freezing fog that lasted for a couple days. Brrrrrrr!!!
