English: International Police in Caserta, Italy, 6 May 1944
Representatives of the British, Italian and American Police in the courtyard of the Caserta Palace in Italy. The three forces shared the duties of policing the 400-room palace. Left to right: an American Military Policeman, Corporal W M Wittner from New York City; an Italian Caribinieri, Bergamasco Liny from Torino, Italy; and a British Military Policeman, Lance Corporal B C Milner from Harrogate, Yorkshire.
