Summary
[edit]DescriptionInterior of St Margaret's - geograph.org.uk - 1415801.jpg |
English: Interior of St Margaret's. The font is 12th century, the oldest identified part of the church. For most of the 18th century, Corse had father and son vicars - Joseph Gegg, 1727-65, who was also vicar of Ashleworth, where he lived, and Robert Gegg, 1765-93, who built the new vicarage at Corse and lived there - see 1415823. They are commemorated by the large wall tablet on the left. |
