Summary
[edit]DescriptionInsects on Flower - geograph.org.uk - 1459695.jpg |
English: Insects on Flower On the left is a Green-veined White butterfly (Pieris napi), the commonest white butterfly around here. Normally the veins look almost grey or black, but this must be a fresh specimen, and the green veins show up really well. I don't know what the other insect is. The flower is Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis). A patch of this plant here always attracts lots of butterflies. |
