Description

I spent some time out in the garden over the weekend hunting for insects in the autumn sunshine. Came across this pretty lady sitting on the madarin tree and what an obliging model she was. A little jumping spider (Salticidae) who was just as inquisitive about me as I was about her, she would sit and look at me with her head slightly angled, and then she would jump onto my lens or flash! Such gentle and understanding eyes, I could never be afraid of spiders - they make such wonderful macro subjects!
