Remarks InfoField | Deutsch: Bei dem Gebäude handelt es sich um einen Turm, der aber aus verschiedenen Richtungen betrachtet, auch als zwei hintereinander stehende Türme wahrgenommen werden kann. Der Turm hat dadurch Bezug zum WTC der vermutlich beabsichtigt ist. Auf die Glas-Fassade sind unten Kirchturmspitzen aus Köln fotorealistisch abgebildet und oberhalb Wolken. In diesen Wolken ist ein bzw. mehrere Flugzeuge zu sehen, die Bewegung vortäuschen. Durch himmelblaue Gestaltung einer mittleren Region, wird der Eindruck erweckt, da wäre ein Loch. Dieses befindet sich zufällig, an etwa der Stelle, wo am 11.9.2001 das 2 Flugzeug in das WTC eingeschlagen ist. Die beteiligten Architekten und Fassadengestalter haben somit im Sommer 2011 eines der innovativsten Kunstwerke der Weltgeschichte vollendet. Keine 3 Wochen nach Abrüstung geschah der Terroranschlag in New York. |
