Julia Schröder - Matthias Goerne Nederlands: Wist u dat de - ondertussen beroemde, destijds prille - Duitse bariton Matthias Goerne één van zijn eerste buitenlandse recitals in deSingel gaf in 1998? Zijn carrière nam sindsdien een enorme vlucht, wereldwijd staat hij in de meest vermaarde operahuizen en op de grootste muziekfestivals. Dit concert met het Zwitserse topensemble Kammerorchester Basel is voor u een unieke gelegenheid om zijn wendbare baritonstem en diepgaande vertolkingen nog eens live te beluisteren. Goerne koos enkele van de mooiste religieuze bascantates van Bach en Graupner. Bach schreef ongeveer tweehonderdvijfennegentig cantates. Als dat u al veel lijkt, schrik dan niet van de productie van Christoph Graupner. Deze tijdgenoot en collega van Bach nam duizend vierhonderdachttien kerkelijke cantates voor zijn rekening. De kerstcantate 'Wie wunderbar ist Gottes Güte' is een mooi voorbeeld van het compositorisch kunnen van Graupner. Bach schreef de bloedmooie cantate 'Ich habe genug' in Leipzig voor de feestdag Maria Lichtmis in 1727. La cantate de Noël ' Wie wunderbar ist Gottes Güte ' est un bel exemple de son talent de compositeur. Bach a écrit la merveilleuse cantate ' Ich habe genug ' à Leipzig pour la Chandeleur en 1727.
