Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Initial Point on the Snake River Plain in Idaho. This is where the principal meridians and base lines start used for cadastral surveys in Idaho on the mound in the distance since it was one of the conspicuous landmarks in the area. Lighter colored bare dirt patches are from ground squirrels and badgers and why this area also has one of the highest concentrations of raptors in the U.S.
