The Plaque Text: Inge King: sculptor Grand Arch First realized in 1983, fabricated to full scale by J.K. Fasham Pty. Ltd. in 2001 A Ballarat Fine Art Gallery project This sculpture is the symbolic gateway into Ballarat's arts and education precinct. Made possible through the generosity of: Ann Whitefield and Ian Gordon, The Ferry Foundation, University of Ballarat, Commonwealth of Australia through the Cultural Development Program of the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts. |
