English: An image of a postage stamp issued in French Indo-China during World War II (two) by the French colonial authorities from the website "Philatelie et Marcophilie de la 2nde guerre mondiale".
Français : Après la guerre, aucune série n’est émise en Indochine. Seuls les 3 timbres français « la France d’Outre Mer dans la guerre », émis à l’occasion d’une exposition au Grand Palais en Octobre 45, sont surchargés « Indochine », et vendus à Paris avant d’être expédiés dans la colonie l’année suivante. La série Félix Eboué n’est pas émise pour l’Indochine (encore sous tutelle japonaise jusqu’au 15 aout 45). Les deux séries coloniales suivantes (Libération et Tchad au Rhin) sont émises pour l’Indochine. Les timbres Pétain de 1941 sont surchargés sur place (n° 299 et 300), malgré l’avis contraire de Paris (mais qui autorise la vente pour éviter toute spéculation, mais ordonne la destruction des timbres de Kouang Tchéou surchargés. Mais, en raison des incertitudes tant politiques que tarifaires, aucun timbre n’est émis ni à Paris, ni localement entre 1946 et 1948. Des timbres d’avant guerre sont réimprimés à Paris et expédiés
