Description
English: The ships of First Training Squadron departed Djibouti on 28 April 2022 as part of their five nation overseas deployment. During their visit, the ships conducted various interactions with officials of Djibouti Navy and Coast Guard. Interaction of HE Shri R Chandramouli, Ambassador of India to Djibouti with crew of ships and visit by Commander Ahmed Daher Djama, Commander of Djiboutian National Navy were the highlights of the visits. Ambassadors and Defence Attaché from various countries and prominent members of Indian Community also visited the ships on 27 April 2022 during a deck reception hosted hosted by 1TS. A delegation of officers from Djibouti National Navy as well as Djibouti Coast Guard were given a walk around onboard 1TS ships. The squadron also conducted a medical camp for local populace of Djibouti at l'Hopital Balbala, Djibouti. In addition to general medical examination, the camp provided specialist prescription and medicines for skin diseases.
