Summary

[edit]
Description

Although distinctly the low season, Haridwar and the ghats along the Ganga river were bustling with pilgrims there to bathe and worship in the holy waters.

Haridwar is situated right where the Ganga leaves the Himalayas (and foothills) and hits the plains, making one of the most important pilgrim site on the sub-continent.
