Title
Inauguration du petit chemin de fer-omnibus du Cours-la-Reine
Description
This print illustrates the inauguration of a new means of transportation, which was a combination of an omnibus and a railway system: the "chemin de fer-omnibus". This vehicle was supposed to compensate for the lack of appropriate public transportation between Paris and its inner suburbs, but it did not have the success that its creators had hoped for.
