Description
Français : Dans la gorge de Tangi Tar (Tangi signifiant étroit en persan), sous Tar Bashi, sur la route de Sarikol à Kashgar. (illustration page 10, texte page 100). Les yaks des Kirghizes (du Pamir) ont aidé l'auteur à passer la gorge. Le défilé s'élargit en s'approchant des steppes de Toile-Bulan.

"Where the defile widens lower down, we came upon the first suburbs and flowers near the Kirghiz grazing-ground from Tolie-Bulan.
